I'm trying to keep up on my blog posts so that when baby comes, I don't have to catch up on other events, and I can write about nothing but the new arrival and our new life with her in it. I was looking through my camera the other day and realized I totally forgot a couple of posts for the blog! Goodness me! Every year, my mom makes pjs for us for Christmas. We usually get a picture of all of us before Christmas, but it just didn't happen this year, so we took a picture after, just to document. Its always quite the event, trying to get grandkids into pjs, moms changing too, and getting everyone together. Cole did a really great job entertaining Lauren while I was getting ready. Dad was keeping Lauren in the sunroom so we could take the picture. We got one!! Ha ha! Lauren wasn't cooperating very well, and wouldn't look at the camera, but at least everyone else is smiling. We love our pjs, Grandma! Thanks for another great pair! Taking pictures really wore out Sierra. I love those chunky cheeks and squishy arms! I got a pretty cute video of Lauren and Cole playing together. She really thinks that her cousins are the funniest people ever. Anything they do is gold.
Recognize that the joy of motherhood comes in moments. There will be hard times and frustrating times. But amid the challenges, there are shining moments of joy and satisfaction.
We are The Johnson Family. Even though this blog will be about us, I will be doing most, if not all, of the posts. To tell a little about us, Aaron and I were married October 28, 2006. Aaron works for ZAGG, a great company that treats us really well, with the help of Aaron's hard work. I work at Main Attraction, a great salon in Bountiful. On July 18, 2010, we welcomed our first child into our family. Lauren is so incredible, and we are so excited for the adventure of parenthood. We live in a wonderful home, in a fabulous neighborhood and really are so blessed. Almost everyday we talk about how awesome our lives are and how much fun we have together. Don't get me wrong, it's not always sunshine and rainbows. We have our occasional clouds, but overall, we can't complain.
